The New York State Thruway Authority operates a 570-miles of highway which is one of the longest toll roads in the nation. The highways are comprised of 809 bridges, 118 interchanges, 11 toll barriers and 27 travel plazas. The Thruway Authority manages the EZ-Pass cashless tolling system which allows motorist to save time and money when driving on the NY State tolled highways.
